Sandra Santiago BIO English

Sandra Santiago

Possesses a spirit every bit as exotic as her name and culture suggests. Not only has she graced the presence of a multitude of countries, namely Spain, England, France, Denmark, Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Italy, Greece, Russia, Japan and Indonesia, but she has endeared herself to those around her by adopting the mother tongue of many along the way, able to speak fluently in French, Japanese and, of course, English and Spanish. The budding starlet was raised in Mexico where she first exposed her family and friends to her flair and passion for the performing arts, showing off her acting and dancing skills to anyone prepared to sit back and watch. And watch they did. Her father would bring home the local bands that performed at his bar and as soon as she heard the music, little Sandra would be dancing right alongside them, delighting her co-performers and family alike. Entertaining audiences suited Sandra to a tee as she loved every minute the limelight would allow her. Her opportunities to perform were boundless as her love for the limelight was not unrequited.

As she grew into middle school, Sandra's passion for acting grew beyond her years when she embraced the methodology of Telenovela actors. There was no doubt in her mind that from that moment on, she would pursue her passion with the same kind of spirit and determination that had blessed her from the moment she was born. As with any great professional, however, she knew that will would not carry her by itself, leading her to pursue any and every aspect of her chosen path in order to accelerate her dream. To improve her fluency in English, during her senior year in high school, she took part in an exchange programme at Washington State's Kent Meridian High School. Of course, she studied theatre where she impressed audiences with her lively portrayal of the Godmother in Cinderella. Once she had graduated, she decided it was time to return to Mexico to continue her studies, this time in EL CENTRO DE CAPACITACION DE TELEVISA. She further went on to study four years at the La Sorbonne University and credits the city of Paris for enriching her already lively spirit. Now with that experience, culture and passion, Sandra lives in Hollywood where she is just waiting to take both tinsel town and the world by storm. In a city full of angels, Sandra Santiago is one angel a cut above the rest. Speaking of angelic qualities, her voice will take your breath away; in fact, both performing and listening to music are very much part of her life.

Sandra's performance credits so far include a run in commercials including an appearance alongside Danny Glover from Lethal Weapon fame. And you have to have impressed to be cast in a commercial for retail giant Walmart. But then Sandra has been impressing since the day she was born.

She has also assumed a number of film roles, including “Pendejo” with Danny Trejo and “"Without a Country" by Rafi Gargis & Frank Aragon. And, of course, being the rounded actress that she is, and never afraid to revisit her roots, Sandra continues to perform in live theatre. One of her more esteemed roles was a part in “Reservoir Bitches”, a take on the Quentien Tarantino movie of a similar name.
